Preparing your own resume :-

The best way to start preparing your resume is,

take a blank sheet & divide it into 2 parts now on the first half write your strengths & on the second half write your hobbies (atleast 3 each).

And you should be able to justify both (your strengths & your hobbies)

2)      Project Title    : BIO-GAS PLANT
Description     : The project aims at providing a Bio-Gas plant to a village which will
receive cow dung from all the houses of the village & produce electricity from the Bio-Gas produced.

·         Attended  seminars at SRM University, national level Civil Engineering Fest

1)    Why B-tech/Civil Engineering?

Frankly speaking, initially my uncle admitted me to B-tech & I was not interested in this course but the 1st CE fest which I attended at SRM university, Modinagar & my 1st industrial training during 4th  semester holidays changed me a lot & now I love this field a lot.

2)    What have you learnt during your Industrial training program?

During my Industrial Training Program I have attended sites at ***& **** companies/firms & there I have learned  ……..

3)    Justify your Strengths?

I love to help others(can also give an example)

I love to visit construction sites on weekends & in my 4th semester holidays I have been to ****site, in my 5th semester holidays I have been to *** site & so on.

I have attended many CE fests at many colleges & all the certificates from there are attached in my executive file
·         Organizing Social Events
I (with my friends) have organized many social events in our society. Every year, we organize flag hosting & various motivational events for small children & other events too.
I have been a part of the event organizing committee of our college & we successfully organized various civil eng events in our college.

Other than these you should be able to explain/justify each & every word of written/mentioned in your Resume.

You should have thorough knowledge of your project topic.

If you have mentioned in your resume that you have attended seminars, then you should know about the topics, which u attended there.
