Bandra-Worli Sea Link

Bandra–Worli Sea Link, also known as the Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, is a cable-stayed bridge with pre-stressed concrete-steel viaducts on either side that links Bandra and the western suburbs of Mumbai with Worli. The total length of the bridge is 5.6 km with longest span of 2 x 250 metres. The height of pylon is 126 m and the vertical clearance is 20m.

The bridge was designed by Dar Al-Handasah and constructed by Hindustan Construction Company. The first four of the eight lanes of the bridge were opened to the public on 30 June 2009. All eight lanes were opened on 24 March 2010.
